The Bodensee Card PLUS is the experience card for the four-country region. After purchasing the card once, cardholders benefit from numerous advantages: One-time free admission at any of our 160 service partners, free travel on passenger ships, exclusive experiences and express check-in at many destinations.

The best thing: The Bodensee Card PLUS is valid for three or seven separate days of your choice. The moment your card is scanned at your destination’s ticket office you will have started one of these days. Thus, you may choose to use the card on seperate days during the current calendar year.

Most excursion destinations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland an the Principality of Liechtenstein are open. Depending on the Corona regulations, a daily negative Corona test / proof of recovery / complete proof of vaccination can be required for the visit. Therefore, please always check the website of the desired excursion destination before your visit. 
Please also observe the relevant Corona entry regulations when entering the country and again, check the destination's own website before you visit.. Further information on the entry regulations can be found here. Please note that the situation in all four countries around Lake Constance is currently developing extremely dynamically. Therefore it is not possible for us to inform you about all changes. We strongly recommend to check the website of the respective destination before you arrive.

Holders of the Bodensee Card PLUS do not need to register in advance or purchase an online ticket for most excursion destinations. Exceptions are the following excursion destinations, where the purchase of an online ticket is mandatory in advance:  

Due to the dynamic developments, we kindly ask you to also check the postings on our website as well as the respective websites of the individual excursion destinations before your visit in order to exclude pre-registration. 

The Bodensee Card PLUS is valid for three or seven separate days of your choice. The moment your card is scanned at your destination’s ticket office you will have started one of these days. Thus, you may choose to use the three-day card on a Monday in April, a Wednesday in June and a Sunday in September during the season. The validity period need not be defined beforehand. The Bodensee Card PLUS can be easily purchased in advance from www.bodensee.eu.

The personalised Bodensee Card PLUS provides you with one-time free admission to every destination.

The Bodensee Card PLUS provides you with one-time free admission to all destinations listed here. You also get to travel free of charge on all VSU scheduled boat trips as often and as long as you like on two days (with the three-day Bodensee Card PLUS) or four days (with the seven-day Bodensee Card PLUS).

Children up to five years of age receive a free Mini Bodensee Card PLUS when an adult card is purchased.
Children over six require a children’s Bodensee Card PLUS. 

No, the Bodensee Card PLUS is personalised and may only be used together with a valid identity card or passport.

There are no discounts (for groups, students, ...) available.

The Bodensee Card PLUS includes the VSU course ships and the adventure buses 1 and 2 between Salem, Uhldingen and Meersburg. Other public transport, such as buses, car ferries or trains, cannot be used with the Bodensee Card PLUS.

Tip: The Bodensee Ticket is the ticket for public transport (bus, train, ferry) in the entire Lake Constance region. Please click here for more information. 

Yes, the use of the Lake Constance ferry between Friedrichshafen and Romanshorn is counted as a day of validity of the Bodensee Card PLUS. During the VSU shipping season (April - October), you travel free of charge as a person with the Bodensee Card PLUS. The day will be charged to your card as a regular shipping day (2 out of 3 or 4 out of 7 days of validity). Outside the shipping season (October - April), you receive a 50% discount on the ferry ride and the day is also charged to your Bodensee Card PLUS as a validity day. 

Vouchers can be purchased by e-mail at info@bodensee-card.eu stating the invoice address and the number of tickets (e.g. 1 x Bodensee Card PLUS 7 days adult and 1 x Bodensee Card PLUS 3 days child). You will receive an invoice from us by e-mail after placing your order. As soon as we have received the payment, the voucher for the desired tickets will be sent to you by post. 

Vouchers can be redeemed either by e-mail at info@bodensee-card.eu or on site at Internationale Bodensee Tourismus GmbH, Hafenstr. 6, 78462 Konstanz (weekdays 9:30 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 16:00). Vouchers are valid for three years from the date of issue.
